On April 18, JAKA officially inaugurated a new base in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The nearly 2,000㎡ facility will focus on intelligent robotics applications, automated solutions development, and technical services, enhancing localized support and market agility across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
"Japan stands as a global robotics innovation hub and a strategic cornerstone of JAKA's global footprint," said Mingyang Li, Chairman of JAKA Robotics. "We will leverage the technological innovation capabilities of the Toyohashi base to continuously provide intelligent solutions that better meet local customer needs."
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from the Consulate General of China in Nagoya, Aichi Prefectural Government, Toyohashi Municipal Government, and JETRO Nagoya Office, with officials delivering keynote speeches.

Since establishing JAKA Robotics Japan Co., Ltd. in Nagoya, JAKA has formed cooperation with industrial giants including Toyota. Its robotic solutions are now integrated into multiple key automotive manufacturing processes.
The new Toyohashi base will complement JAKA's Nagoya operations through several initiatives:
1. Establishing a robotics technology application center to accelerate the local implementation of cutting-edge technologies.
2. Creating a solution verification platform to develop flexible automation systems for sectors such as automotive, consumer electronics, and renewable energy.
3. Developing local talent in cooperation with institutions such as the Toyohashi University of Technology.

"We are committed to transforming robots from specialized equipment into user-friendly tools, empowering customers to revolutionize their productivity," said Watanabe Makoto, Vice President of JAKA Robotics Japan. "The launch of the Toyohashi base demonstrates our dedication to getting closer to customer needs, and helping them improve production efficiency through rapid response mechanisms and standardized services."
Looking ahead, JAKA will continue to increase its investment in the Japanese market, aiming to provide intelligent automation solutions while supporting industrial upgrades in the region.
